Fun and laughter were the order of the day at the ‘Z Factor’ – the annual Pet Vaccination Clinic/ YourVets Group staff party, held at The Heart of England Conference centre near Coventry. Every year has a new fancy dress theme – and this year it was ‘ A Night With The Stars’ – leading to all sorts of outrageous costumes!

Over one hundred members of staff and veterinary industry associates filled the venue to see groups of staff from the practices performing a range of songs and even dance routines on stage, all to much laughter and ringing eardrums.

Jonathan Stirling, Managing Director of the PVC/YourVets group had this to say:

“My ears are still bleeding from the dreadful singing, but this has been our best Z Factor yet! We started the Z Factor nights to show our staff how much we value them. The evenings are a great way of helping the practices get together as a group, and we make sure that they all have a brilliant time and leave with some really nice prizes too. It was an extra special Z Factor this year, because we were joined by Allen Parton, from the charity Hounds for Heroes, who told us about how his life as an injured ex-soldier was turned around by meeting a special dog called Endal. I know that all our staff were greatly touched when they heard his story, and we will be helping Hounds for Heroes with various charity events in the near future.”
