Emergencies

Emergencies outside surgery hours

If your pet needs emergency treatment or you would just like some advice outside of our normal opening hours, we have a dedicated emergency service waiting to take your call – the YourVets24 Coventry emergency service.

YourVets24 Coventry is our own dedicated, specialised emergency veterinary service. This means the vets and nurses are fresh and have not just finished a long day at work before they see any emergency cases in the evening or at weekends. Because the vets and nurses see lots of emergency cases they are familiar with all the latest techniques.

Please note we do expect payment at the time of treatment.

Staff

Faye Fraser – Practice Manager

I joined the Pet Vaccination Clinic in 2000 to further my career in animal care, prior to this I worked for the RSPCA for six years gaining qualifications in animal welfare and management. In 2004 I qualified as a veterinary nurse and then went on to be promoted to head nurse two years later, and in 2009 I became the practice manager of the Coventry branch.
My job entails all sorts but principally looking after customers, pets and staff, ensuring that the team provides excellent level of veterinary care.
My love of animals extends into my home life too; I share my house with two very spoilt cats; Tarot, an oriental short hair and Sorrell, a chocolate Burmese, both rescue cats requiring lifelong medical care.
I love my role at Yourvets; it gives me immense satisfaction knowing that so many pets and their owners have access to our truly affordable and professional veterinary service.

Katy Wragg – Head Vet

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in the year 2000 with a degree in veterinary medicine and immediately started work at a mixed practice in Stratford upon Avon. After 3 years I decided to concentrate exclusively on small animals and returned to my home city of Coventry…I have been here ever since!
I enjoy being part of this close-knit team here at the Coventry YourVets, working hard to provide people with good quality veterinary care.
When not working I can often be found running cross country with my Jack Russell terrier Harry!

Kelly Bridge – Senior Theatre Nurse

Hi, I’m Kelly, the senior theatre nurse at the Coventry branch of YourVets. I’ve been qualified for over 2 years, but have been working with animals for almost 15. I love my job as every day is different. Working here gives me a real sense of job satisfaction because it feels like we’re really making a difference – and there aren’t many jobs you can say that about!
I’ve got lots of pets of my own: 2 Jack Russells, 2 cats and 4 rescued battery hens called Ada, Barbara, Doris and Molly!

Testimonials

Mrs A Gahan, Coventry
