Welcome to YourVets Wythall

Meet our Wythall team

  • Cat owner, mum of 2, football supporter

I was born in a Vet’s family and I wanted to be a vet since ever, my life has always be blessed with pets and I’ve got a soft spot for cats. I joined YourVets Wythall in 2013. I feel very lucky as I do love my job and I particularly enjoy surgery and neurology.

I am now the proud Head Vet of a friendly, caring and excellent team who strives to provide pets with the best possible care and to offer all owners a clear, open and honest opinion.

Chiara Costanzo DVM , Senior Veterinary Surgeon

  • Michael Jackson super-fan, charity runner

I joined YourVets at the Stechford clinic in 2006 after completing my veterinary nursing degree at Hartpury College. In 2009 I transferred to the YourVets Wythall clinic as Theatre Nurse. I have also completed an advanced feline friendly nursing certificate and have helped the YourVets Wythall clinic gain their gold stand feline friendly practice award.

I am currently studying for a post graduate diploma in veterinary nursing which I hope to complete in Summer 2015.

    Hannah Orme RVN, Head Nurse

  • Love miniature dachshunds, also love cats

I joined YourVets Wythall in August 2012 as a voluntary student and have since been employed full time and love it. I previously worked in a cat sanctuary and really enjoyed caring for the cats, which led me to veterinary nursing. I gain my qualification as a veterinary nurse in 2015 and enjoy the every aspect of my job!

It’s great that YourVets Wythall now have their ‘Cat Friendly’ certificate.

Lotti Burton RVN, Registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Dog lover, horse rider

I completed a degree in Veterinary Science at the RVC before studying Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Edinburgh University. I joined Your Vets after graduating in 2014. I have had a love for animals since I was a child and couldn’t think of a more rewarding or fun career.

Apart from getting to spend my days playing with very cute kittens and puppies, my favourite part of the job is seeing our patients make full recoveries and returning to our clinics with their tails wagging

    Megan Hennessey, Veterinary Surgeon

  • Canine behaviorist, multiple pet owner, horse rider

I became a member of the YourVets Wythall team in. Since being here I have gained two of my many pets as rescues. Roxy, my German Shepherd cross Husky was rescued from the charity we work with to keep my other dog; Kavik company. I also rescued two ferrets who have fun spending time with my other four ferrets and most recently, I adopted Olaf my Alaskan Malamute who’s a big teddy bear.

I help run the clinic’s Puppy Classes to raise awareness of natural canine behaviour in growing puppies.

    Fiona Wilkins, Animal Nursing Assistant

  • 10k runner, veterinary nursing student, new dog owner

I joined YourVets Wythall in 2011 as I have a keen interest in companion animals. The best parts of my job are meeting the clients, hearing their stories and seeing all the lovely animals. I started studying towards my veterinary nursing qualification in 2014 and I’m really enjoying learning from the other RVNs in our practice.

My favourite dogs are small breeds, and I have acquired two Jack Russell terriers called King Julian and Princess Pandora since working at YourVets!

    Jennifer Hallett, Student Veterinary Nurse

  • Keeper of Nicholas the horse, dog owner, bee keeper

I have been working at YourVets Wythall for a very long time now. I wanted to work with animals as when I was a child I had a deep rooted interest in all of my pets. I qualified as a veterinary nurse with the company in March 2015 and I am Consulting Team Leader looking after clients and pets front of house.

I love spending time with my staffordshire bull terriers and my horse Nicholas.

Samantha Walsh RVN, Consulting Team Leader

  • Lurcher lover, part-time rocker

I started with YourVets Wythall in 2013 when I started studying my nursing qualification. I was a part time voluntary placement when I started, but I soon became a permanent fixture the following June. I hope to be a fully qualified veterinary nurse by the end of 2015!

I enjoy going for long walks with my beautiful lurcher George who is a rescue I met during a nurse consultation.

    Louise Chandler, Student Veterinary Nurse
