Staff
Suzanne Johnstone – Practice Manager
Hi, i’m Suzanne Johnstone. I have been a qualified Veterinary Nurse since January 2000 and working with animals is all I ever wanted to do.
I took over as Practice Manager at Wythall in June 2010 and am loving the challenge of running this busy clinic and my team of 24 staff. My staff are a really friendly bunch and we like to think of ourselves as one big happy family at Wythall – and this includes our clients!
Although I am the clinic manager, I still love nothing more than to help my colleagues consult or work in theatre when they need a helping hand as I still love to practise my nursing skills.
Out of work I love looking after my two springer spaniels called Presley and Dylan, my cat Ozzy and two horses called Piper and Joker. Between them they keep me very busy and being out in the country with my horse is where my heart lies.
Hannah Orme – Head Nurse
Hello I am the theatre nurse at YourVets in Wythall and I have been in this position for a few years now. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2006 where I gained my NVQ nursing qualification and nursing degree at Hartbury College. I have worked for the Pet Vaccination Clinic since qualifying. Since working for the PVC I have also gained my assessor qualification and SQP qualification, and now I also have the feline behaviour certificate.
I have 2 dogs called Archie and Henry and 2 cats called Alfie & Phoebe – they are a crazy bunch and keep me very busy!
I love my job because I work with a fantastic team and being theatre nurse I can ensure your animals receive the best possible care.
